They can roll on the road or unfurl their wings like an insect and fly. Their price tags range from $399,000 to $1.6 million. The only hindrance to buying a flying car is that you'll need to show both your driver's license - and your pilot's license.

The AeroMobil company of Bratislava, Slovakia, displayed its new generation of flying vehicle: a four wheeled, twin-seat, six-meter-long car that extends wings and landing gear to transform into a light-framed plane boosted by a hybrid engine and a rear propeller. Stefan Vadocz, the company's communications director, said that “reservations are possible today for a planned commercialization, once the certification process is completed, in 2020."  For customers who thrive on exclusivity, the company has also announced that it will offer a first edition of only 500 flying cars.
‘AeroMobil aims to make personal transportation vastly more efficient and environmentally friendly by allowing significantly faster door-to-door travel for medium distance trips and in areas with limited or missing road infrastructure.’
